In the style of Hints by Heloise, I would like to offer a "Puma Pointer". Did your college player leave a closet full of different colored belts when he went away? Mine did, and I have moved them to my closet! They make great adjustable belts for me, with every color to accent my outfits. They are the perfect width with a nice flat buckle.

puma, That's funny! I recently cleaned my son's closet and room. I gathered up belts from drawers, under the bed, bottom of the closet and hung them all together in the closet. It was a amazing to look at the collection. The thing is that I can tell you where each and every belt came from (team that is). Nice memories!

Redhead--If your house is like mine, not only do you have 45 royal blue baseball socks, but 11 of them are just a little bit different and don't match each other!!

ha! and every one has at least one hole... that's why you need so many, so you can double up and the holes never actually show!
we have every color in the rainbow at our house, or so I thought, until son's CABA team this year was royal blue... we had to find new socks and belt. I should have advertised here!

Yeah - during his senior year I would throw out those with the biggest holes. I know I have never bought this many socks - he tends to "borrow" them from teammates and "forget" to return them. After the junior year, he lost his practice pants and ended up with a pair of turf shoes that had one size 13 (his) and a size 9 as it's partner. However, he gained 2 or 3 pairs of underarmour socks, lots of practice t-shirts and an extra batting jacket. There really is no telling what goes on in those locker rooms.
