sheboygan! although most of last season we seemed to be bipolar, beating the best team and then losing to some group of subpar players, so hopefully coming back without losing much (except berkovitz who is starting as a froshy at uwm) we will lose that charecteristic of our team.

DePere. Oh by the way we beat sheboygan 19-4

The one constant through all the years has been baseball. America is ruled by it like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game, is a part of our past.- Field of Dreams

Elk Grove, a slightly above average legion team in Illinois, beat the top 3 Wisconsin legion teams (Plover, Depere and Mantowiak) in the Plover tournament without their top 3 pitchers.

That shouldn't be surprising P3B. Legion ball in Wisconsin isn't all that good. Most of the best players in Wisconsin and it's a small number, play on travel teams. Some people just don't get it, but the ones that do try to avoid Legion ball if they can.

Seedthrower, What are some of the travel teams in Wisconsin? And are any of them in the summer?

Baseball, There are a few, I have some knowledge of a couple of teams in the southeastern part of the state. I found a team in Illinois that my son plays for, it was a perfect fit for him in many ways. They seem to "get it" in Illinois when it comes to playing baseball at very high levels.
The other option, but they only play in the fall is the Midwest Blazers, they do a great job of getting exposure. If the WIAA would get a backbone and make all HS teams play in the spring the Blazers would put a summer team together in a hurry.

Thanks, The WIAA dose not make any sence with that or some of the reasons some have for keeping it that way.
