3...Because of his grades and his level of play, he had plenty even before he went to the Stanford camp.

Narrowed from about 115 to 40 to 25 to 10 and then to 5...Some terrific coaches and assistants and others "not so nice".

He's a member of the Princeton, Class of 2008; and, he's very much looking forward to it!

Any questions, give me a call and I'll see if I can answer them for you....815-469-4520...John

Beenthere - I hope you don't mind the intrusion, but just thought I had something to offer here.

3bagger - Our son signed with Stanford. He also attended their camp. They were on him before the camp, but the camp solidified their interest. They came on hard during and afterwards.

As for other schools, for us, not too much additional attention after the camp from other schools that participated in the camp. Some had already contacted him and continued too, but others seemed to us to back off after that. Perhaps they realized Stanford wanted him and felt they had no chance since we live only 15 minutes from campus. Seemed kind of weird to us because he had not made up his mind at that point. But he may have been a special case in that regard because of where he lives.

Anyways, if your son is a good student, the "right" schools for him will be at this camp. Lots of Ivies, Service Academies, and other top-notch schools from multiple divisions (e.g. D-3 Trinity in Texas). Its a good camp, well run, fun for the kids, and a lot of baseball.
