The Pilots are 31-9 (15-1 MCC) WOW!!!
I heard they also signed another pitcher. John Kessick from Niles High School in Michigan. Another big, tall, and strong kid... good fastball. With Biskupski, Kirk, and Forray... not a bad incoming freshman foursome!! Coach Zartman is definitely getting some players.

I saw Marcel was 20-24 last week. Is that possible. Seth is a good guy and will get the job done up there.

I saw the stats in the paper, couldn't believe it. Checked their web site.... all true. The guy (Marcel) was just killing the ball.

How does Bethel get a 6-6 kid that throws 90. The Masterson kid from Ohio is the one I am talking about. How did the D1 school let him get away? I am glad they have him, but I guess my questions is: Are the recent draft picks (Stults, Kloosterman and Humen) drawing top pitchers?

I heard Masterson was recruited by D1's.... he comes from a very religous family and wanted to attend Bethel for the "Christian" experience. I'm sure the Bethel baseball program had a lot to do with it and the recent history of "pitchers" from Bethel making it in the "bigs."

That makes sense. Bethel has the best of both worlds. It is good to see a kid doesn't get lost in the bright lights of the D1 label. He was fun to watch the one time I saw him.

Justin knew he was coming to Bethel before he even stepped into his freshman year of high school. His sister goes there, and his dad is a pastor of a church Bethel is affiliated with.

Now that makes total sense! How's it going Josh? how's your season so far. Hope well. Things are the usual up here. Seeing some good and some bad bball and fighting the crazy weather. I saw Riley play Elk Memorial at the Bethel field. Andy B. didn't get to pitch. I heard he pitched the 1st game for Riley and didn't get the # of rest days to pitch at Bethel. I heard he was disappointed, but that must have been before he hit a HR... it was a rocket! I'm sure he was thrilled to hit it out of Bethel's field. I talked with his Dad, Andy is having a great start so far. I hope you're doing well too. By the way, Bethel is having a great year. Good team, Great chemistry!
