My son was recruited by Valpo. He wasn't too impressed by them. Don't know why.

My nephew played for Coach Paul Twenge at Valpo, and, I was involved in the recruiting process with him. I can tell you this,
Paul is a class guy and delivered on his word. He knows baseball.

The quality of education from Valpo is also top shelf.

Pelota...Now i know Valpo is a D-1 school but..I was amazed to not see Valpo's field in better shape then it was. I recently had a tournament at Valpo and Chesterton and I got to say that the field at Chesterton HS was in a lot better condition than the field at Valpo..

Valpo offers high qualitied education...Creighton and Valpo are ranked as top universities in Midwest by US News and World Report rankings. 2007-2008 will move to Horizon League which should be good for Valpo.

I am a Valpo alum and played there for Coach Twenge for 4 years. Coach Twenge is no longer there and I am not sure who the new coach is or if they have one yet.

I was pleased with my education, social and baseball experience. If you have any more questions feel free to PM me

The field may not be the greatest, but the new clubhouse facility they built my Junior year is pretty impressive.
