Rockport is definately deserving of the state championship! They are an amazing with 3 quality starters including your son Shawn. I started at shortstop for the Newburgh Legion team who you guys beat in sectionals. I feel it was a pretty good game, but i believe we coul've pulled maybe one win out but definately not two. Your pitching is way too strong. Shawn ended up striking me out 3 times that game. Good Luck to you guys in the National tournament!

Thank you. They won their first game at Regional. 6-5 in 12 innings. Shaun pitched the last 8 for the win.
Will Pappano hit in Reinhart for the winning run.

i heard Rockort lost two games to the team from minnesota...thats kind of dissappointing. Rockport is one of the best teams I've seen in awhile...Before Shaun goes off to ISU I just wanted to tell him good luck. There are two players from Harrison and Newburgh Legion who are getting big looks from ISU so maybe we'll see each other again.

Thank you very much. The kids were disapponinted that they lost but now they are looking forward to getting back to school. Shaun has left for ISU, he's home this weekend. He says he loves it up there and can't wait wait for practice to start. September 12. Good luck in the next season.
