Hey, this is a video of me in the cages. I clipped only 4 swings to make it shorter and I put them in slo mo afterward. This particular machine is hard to time so thats why my load can look wierd at times.

Please give as much critique as you can. I myself see that my front foot is not on the ball of the foot at contact. How can I correct that?

Thanks

I would really like to see swings that aren't off of a machine because you have no timing, so the swing could be a little different had you not been mis-timed.

Looks like better contact and better balance.

What would you say is the difference between this clip and the last one?

Well, the last one I was just imitating Robinson Cano's swing, but in this clip I was trying to get into the palm up palm down position as fast as possible. I guess that means I'm using more of my hands in my swing than the other clip.

Let your hands find their own way.

The palm up/palm down is a bit restrictive on the wrists.

I mentioned the same thing in the top hand thread.

The palm up/palm down swing doesn't allow a full range of motion to follow through without rolling the wrists.

The wrist roll will cause you to lose bat speed.

Think Palms facing sideways and your hands will let you know what they feel comfortable with.
