This year is my first year hitting without a facemask. For the first couple of games I hit with a facemask and I was killing the ball and i was seeing the ball really well. I then decided to take my facemask off cause I saw a lot of people doing it. Lately, I haven't been hitting as well without the facemask. I have been pulling off a lot which has caused the ball to hit the end of the bat or I would just miss. Has this ever happened to you?

as coach would say..."STAY IN THE **** BOX!"

But seriously, its just a psychological thing. You'll get over it by seeing more pitches without the mask. I play 3rd base and I got a shot to the face on a bad hop one time. I was timid the whole next day. Just gotta step in and try to fight it.
