After six weeks of frustration it appears I'm not up to the task of curing my 11year old son's bat drag issue. If anyone knows of a quality hitting instructor in my area, I'd be very grateful if you'd pass me his name. I live in Crestview, Florida; 10 miles north of Niceville, 30 miles north of Fort Walton Beach, and 45 miles east of Pensacola.

Thanks in advance for anyone able to help!

Mark

You should try Scott Hemond, former pro player with the Oakland A's. He works out of Destin and offers regular lessons.

Thanks! I know he helps run a baseball academy in the Destin area (my son's travel team plays one of the lower level teams from his academy), but I didn't know he gave individual lessons. I'll have to check into this.

Thanks again!
