I coach a bunch of 9 year olds and need a couple of fool proof hitting drills that can be done inside.

I have a few kids that continue to drop their hands, back shoulder and end up uppercutting with their swing. We have the tee to promote swinging down through the zone, but I want to give something to the Dads of these boys so they can work on this outside of practice. We have had a ton of rain and indoor facilities are at a premium around here, so our practice time has been limited lately and I thought a couple good drills that a Dad could do with his kid at home might help them out.

Just make sure that the right hip replaces the point where the left hip was(if it's a righty). That will get them to drive the ball. Sometimes with hitters that drop their hands, it's best to start their load with the elbows down, tell 'em to get on top of the ball, 'hit a ground ball as hard as you can'.
