Some of the best advice I can give is to go out and buy The Science of Hitting by Ted Williams and have him read it. When he is done, have him read it again. And again and again.

I have no idea as to who the hitting coaches are in Fairfax County, but Ted is always the best place to start IMO. Smile

I concur wrt the SCIENCE OF HITTING. Williams was one of the earliest true students of hitting. He was teaching from the enviable position of being the best--ever.

In Northern Virginia, there are alot of great instructors. Ritchie, Coangelo, Pinkman, etc. But I will stand by Mike Murray of VBC any day of the week. He knows his subject, he relates well with players, he is patient, he is succinct and clear, and he produces results.

beemax,

His video by the same is very good too, maybe even better since you actually get to see it put into action.

You should post this in the Virginia Forum... But what are you looking for Rotational or A to C?
