I am noticing that a lot of my players are taking great cuts while doing frontal toss. As soon as I back it up a little and throw BP the swings go out the window. What are some things that you guys do in order to get your players to carry over.

I would say the problem is that in front toss they don't have time to think, they just react to the ball. In BP, they have to wait for the ball and then swing and that takes timing. I'd say they need movement to occupy the time. Move back slower while front tossing and then increase the speed each time you move back until you reach normal BP distance and then try to stay at the last speed you front tossed. It could be as simple as they keep their front shoulder in longer on front toss because their head is down.
