Lately I have been way over striding on pitches. This causes my whole body to move including my eyes and I have not been able to hit the ball sqaure. Any drills to help this problem? or advice? Thanks

It's hard to really give you a cause or correction for your over-stride without seeing the action.

I would reccommend that you eliminate the stride in favor of just weight shift from one leg to the other.

This will have two effects

1) It will allow you to maintain a sturdy balanced stance

2) It will eliminate the time that it takes to stride.

Some batters over-stride or elongate their swing when they open their hips early or start their hip turn before starting their swing. You'd start to feel the strain in your back from the abnormal stretching motion.

Take a look at Dimaggio's swing, you may see some things you can use.
