Here is a video of me hitting in the cage recently. There are some good swings, some not so good ones. Just looking for some feedback on what areas I should be zoning in on to improve. thanks!

Is this off of a machine? If not, get the Pitcher to slow down in between pitches some. Slow your pre swing movement down some and relax.

Your hips seem to come thru as a result of your swing rather than part of your swing. You could get alot more out of your core and it may lead to alot of hard hit balls.

Sometimes I sits and I thinks, sometimes I just sits.

Try keeping the go point of your hands within the frame of your stance (shoulders / knees).

Yankeelvr: I've tried keeping my 'go' point within the frame of my stance, and I've noticed quite a difference. I find that its a lot easier to bring the bat through the zone, and I find it to be a little bit quicker too. However, as a result of this I noticed my back elbow is a little higher than it was before, is this a bad thing?

Coachric: I can see in the video what you are saying about my hips. How would I go about improving this?

Thanks again

Glad you saw some positive results. Wouldn't worry too much about rear elbow location provided it isn't throwing off your stroke. You looked to really be dragging it thru in the first video clip, like to see where you are now if possible.
