Will there be a run on these after watching Josh Hamilton last night in the HR derby?

What are the advantage/disadvantages of using one of these? Do they take a while to get used to?

Haha i knew that i would see this on here! I actually use one with wood bats. When i bought it the box said the advantage was that it put your thumb in the "power position" but i bought it because my top hand thumb had gotten hit by a high fast ball the day before. I was going to use it for a couple games till the soreness went away, but i absolutely fell in love with it! It was super weird at first but i couldnt feel the pain in my thumb when i held the bat so i liked it. It took 3-4 AB's to get used to, but i didnt do any cage work that day and i was hurtin so no pregame BP. I think that its way comfortable and id reccomend it to anyone. But check the rules of your league, because i was in spokane a couple weeks ago and the tournement had them banned and the ump asked me to not use it.

But as for the power, after Hamiltons show last night, i could really see it. But dont expect a miracle, his core is his power miracle.
