Okay well up until this weekend I was hitting .400+ but this last weekend tourney has brought my average down to .385 and I had a question about how much this effects me or how even.

My coach has told me I have a Hideki Matsui like swing except my stance is a little more straight up and I'm having trouble with the low pitches, I don't know what he means my Matsui like swing (I don't have video sorry) and I want to know what that could be and it's not stepping out because I already asked him that. Just curious and the weird part of it all is I bat left handed and throw right and wear 55 as well. O.o

With a batting average in the range you are speaking of I would not mess with your swing. Matsui is in the MLB so I would not think that a comment like that should be thought of as derogatory.

Just continue to try to see the ball better and read pitches.

Get a good pitch to hit!

Ok, thank you for the kind words, I am just worried because I've heard a lot of things about how Matsui even being in the MLB has bad swing habits so I was just unsure. Once again thank you for your comments.

Could it be that you had your first few unlucky games of the year and maybe overthinking it now? Sounds like to haven't had to many so far.

Baseball, it is said, is only a game. True.

If you are having trouble with low pitches, just learn to rotate the barrel to the ball instead of pushing and pulling with your hands.

If I understand what you're saying correctly I am already using rotational mechanics, it's what made me jump from one of the worst on my team to one of the best since last year.
