No one is counting frames.

Just identify the 'go' frame....then I'll define LONG

Well, I was looking at the video and trying to ascertain when it was that they cognitively decided to continue their swing or allow that swing to proceed. I just can't do that. I would assert that what you define as "go" is different in every individual. I would also assert that some individuals have better recognition abilities than others and so, can start or stop better. I'd further assert that the type of pitch, eyesight, physical well being of an individual might help or hinder that individual on any given day. What is the same in every individual is that heel touching the ground. Then again, perhaps you have some way of analyzing all of these factors that I am unaware of. Certainly you suggest that they (Every single MLB player) are all exactly the same at that given moment in time.

You used the phrase "LONG!" So, let's think about this. I think we can both agree that the time has been reduced to seconds or tenths of a second. Again, "LONG?" Would you then suggest that it is so "LONG" that while the ball is in flight that the hitter is activly thinking open my hips and keep my shoulders square? Would they be able to do this, trigger be it any variety of ways, track the ball, decide where the pitch location is and type of pitch? LONG? Would the hitter be able to feel that "stretch" recognize it via some cognitive feedback and then realize that they have obtained "stretch" and so, can now swing? In my observation of this "stretch" and while I agree that the hips do start first, I just can't view that as "LONG." Of course I can't even determine when a hitter is thinking swing or stop in the middle of their swing and so, I'm not going to fare well on this one.

One further observation, when I was in the middle of a swing, I never had the ability to check exactly the same and the same exact point of my swing. All those factors previously mentioned occurred. I can't think of one time where I cognitively thought "it's a ball so stop your swing." It was more of a sensation to stop. Naturally, not all of those messages were received by the muscles at the exact same time each time and so, sometimes, I was successful in my check swing. Sometimes my hips, bat (shoulders) started and I just couldn't stop. That's the reality of it.

Wogdoggy, Richard wasn't thrown off due to any disagreements with me or PCR. He has been banned from this site. He has given up the right to post on this private site which allows for public posting. However, I've explained this in greater detail to you via a pm.
