I would say this, you need to be moving your bottom hand and knob as close to plane as possible from ("go", "launch",) through contact without losing your stretch or leverage. At go, your top hand will find the intersection of ball and plane and the combination of these two will carry you through on plane. The further the distance between actual location and the center of the strike zone will determine how close the sweetspot will be from the plane when the top hand fires. Note, shoulder tilt is also a big determining factor in how close the swing is to being on plane to get the most out of your core, IMO.

I can only guess yes. But its pretty impossible to get the swing plane on the pitch plane every time, since the pitch plane of a slider is verical, and a curve from a LHP to RHP would have to bat head above the handle to meet the plane. But pretty much have the swing on pitch plane asap
