I am not really the one to be asking,there are many more much more qualified on this site,but imo,YES.
IMO,you will have to get your momentum moving forward into the ball to get off the back foot(instead of just spinning) as demonstrated in the pics he showed.Just makes since that would give you more power.

IMO, the second Instructor is much closer to the truth. The position of the back foot is simply a result of doing everything right before that point. It will be in slightly different positions depending on the weight shift and location of the pitch on different pitches. Cal Ripkin didn't get to "heal toward the sky" and he was a pretty good hitter, nor does Barry Bonds. Bottom line is, it's not as important how you finish, but what you did to get there.
