Were neighbors and our players and teams are very competative with one another.

He's a good "local" kid and from a respectable family in the baseball community. Many kids in "our local area" know him and have competed against Justin.

Sorry if you and I differ on the meaning of the word "local". Some time this week if I get time, I'll go to the "local" library and do some research on the word "local".

Maybe it's one of those difficult meaning words like is... is!

Do we differ on the definition of Maryland?
And yes he is a great talent and a good kid. My son played with him. I was using the Maryland forum to let Maryland readers read about a Maryland kid who did not get a lot of hype out of high school. I guess we can agree to disagree on the definition of Maryland.

You've changed the "first original wording" on your post which was why I responded with another local players success story as you did.

My post about Justin Upton was meant to share "local" information about a players success to date... NOT to get in an argument/disagreement because of a few miles and/or my posting in the wrong forum... by your definition. Your original post was made in reference to a local player doing good and I simply added another "local players name" that was having great success to date... as you did by starting this topic.

Please stop by the Virginia forums and you'll read where I post scores and team records of Virginia, Maryland and DC teams. Also information about a Maryland pitcher that had great success on the mound recently by throwing a "No Hitter" with 10 strikeouts. To me, that was fun information to share with the websters... from any state!
