As a parent of a Catcher, as well a baseball coach, I know how critical the position is. I also know how difficult it is to work them into a practice when we have such a short time to work before the games begin.

Kevin is not your typical “block this, frame that” type catching coach. He teaches catching technique and athleticism. May I strongly suggest you have your catchers take advantage of this!

As always, any questions do not hesitate to give me a call at (410) 721-4203

Thank you for this opportunity,

Al McCormick

Catchers, it is that time again! Whether you are in High School or if you are a College Player on break, Kevin will provide you with the edge before heading back to start the Spring 2007 Season.

As you may or may not know, my son is a catcher and selfishly I searched for the best. Kevin is the guy and I have him back each year.

Most Valuable Player is fortunate to have Kevin Schnall come and work with the Catchers on 15-16 December at our indoor facility in Crofton, MD. To ensure you get the workout time slot that fits you, please register on-line www.mostvaluableplayer.biz or use the MS Word Flyer I have attached.

Know of other catchers who would benefit, please feel free to pass it on.

Here is what a Parent from the Virginia Beach area wrote to me regarding Kevin Schnall.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the parent of a catcher who spent 2 years at Coastal under Kevin's supervision, I'd like to second Al and David's comments about Kevin. My son has told me that he would observe the routines of catchers from other college teams and realized how much more extensive Schnall’s preparations were versus other programs.

As an example, my son thought his first season conditioning under Schnall was tough, but realized his second year just how out of "catching shape" he really was as an incoming freshman. Today he speaks of being in "running shape" differently from being in "catching shape".

Kevin also identified my son's lack of flexibility as a factor limiting his performance and referred him to a yoga class to work on flexibility. Today he enjoys a great deal more flexibility and utilizes stretching exercises learned in that yoga class.

Al, I hope you have a good turnout. The catchers in your area will benefit greatly if they will heed his advice. Schnall does a great job teaching advanced receiving skills. Kevin is kind of tough, but he understands the skills needed and the physical demands of playing the position at the higher levels.

Look to see him get a head coaching position in the not too distant future.

Appreciate it if you would have your catcher’s Register as soon as possible.

Thanks

Al McCormick

It is a amazing workout! Our Son did this last year. It looks like he will be unable to attend this year due to work commitments. If it wasn't for that he would be there. He came home so exhausted but with so much more knowledge of what it takes to make a good catcher. At the Highschool level he never had a workout like this. It could certainly give a Catcher an edge over others.

Thank you for the kind remark Sue. As a father of a catcher I agree with all your comments. For a catcher this event is something you do and take with you the rest of your career.

If you are interested in get the edge over the other catchers, I strongly suggest you register on-line to get the session that fits your schedule.

Thank you for this opportunity,
Al McCormick

There a couple slots left in the sessions on Friday and Saturday. Provided there is room I will take registrations until early Thursday morning.

Thank you for all your support. Kevin, who has a passion for catching, certainly appreciates the opportunity to work with you kids.

Keep them working hard!
