The Frozen Ropes Baseball and Softball Training Center, in Glen Burnie, will host an Advanced Hitting Workshop February 10 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. The workshop will cover improving bat speed, biomechanical swing analysis, Visual Mechanics/Pitch recognition training, and Showtime mental skills training. Each student will also receive a Frozen Ropes Ice Logo T-Shirt, and bat speed/reaction time analysis. Shelly Duncan, New York Yankees #1 Power prospect will be a special guest instructor for the clinic. The clinic format was developed by Frozen Ropes for the New York Mets, Boston Red Sox, University of Florida, and Mississippi State University.
