Is anyone aware of a compilation of Maryland kids (played HS ball in Maryland) who are currently on college rosters? I'm guessing that there isn't, since it would require a diligent soul with lots of time on his/her hands searching college websites for "MD". However, perhaps I'm wrong and somebody actually does keep track. If so, please steer us in the right direction.

Over the years, I've watched any number of very talented kids play with and against my son. I'd like to follow their college careers if only I knew where they are.

Theres likely to be no list in existence. But I'm sure the posters on HSBBW can help you out little by little. Why dont we get a list going.

The rationale on why it's not as open as some want is due (but not limited) to the following:

1) Sherman decided not to keep the talented 06 Good Counsel HS OF on his 2007 roster (which I find a little dis-service to some extent), yet that in itself is another type of interesting discussion.

2) The talented 05 Centennial HS C decided (due to health reasons) to concentrate on studies and not continue playing college baseball this year.

There are many many others.

Thanks, Bear. Glad we can help update the master list(s). There are still some players not listed who are/will be on rosters, so until late January, as you say, listing will be very tentative.

Maybe after the rosters are set and posted at the various team websites, you and others can provide a "final" list for the '07 season.

Also, JUCO players are not shown and, as we know, there are some very talented players at the 2-year schools --- maybe can include JUCO if the compilation is not too cumbersome?
