The MPSSAA brackets are out, who are the favorites in each region, each classification? Any predicted upsets?

No matter how you cut it, there's going to be some exciting baseball in the coming days!

I was shocked to see that Thomas Stone had upset Arundel. That must have been a whale of a great game!

1-0.
The Stone pitcher threw a 1 hitter with 7ks.
Potter for Arundel struck out 14, gave up 5 hits including a solo homer in the fifth.
Arundel had men on 1st and 2nd nobody out in the bottom of the 7th and failed to score.

Very proud of my Alma Mater (Thomas Stone). Even with 6 starters and 8 total Varsity players being declared acadmemically ineligble it's nice to see the JV guys come in the middle of the season and step things up. The question is... Can Stone repeat their heroics of 2004 when they went on to beat Meade, Old Mill, Arundel and Chesapeake to claim the 4A East (which is possibly the toughest division in the whole state)?

Who won between Stone and Broadneck? The MPSSAA brackets aren't updated for that game yet.

Does anyone know the times and admission prices for the 4A tournament at Shipley?

I've not seen the times written down, yet,
(and expect a game time type decision tommorrow morning), but my guess is 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

Several are meeting at Applebees (Rt 1 College Park) at 2:45 ish.

I have just seen it written down
- 4:00 pm Sherwood vs Thomas Stone
(Should be a good one)
Goodman vs Glazier each not announced starting pitching yet. (And neither threw at Sunday's Regional Tryouts)

- 7:00 pm Roosevelt vs Quince Orchard
(should be a good one too)
Capece vs Casaway (where QO has not announced starting pitching yet. (And neither threw at Sunday'd Regional Tryouts, For ER it will be Sean Swetnam, who I heard committed to GMU))

Ya know, the MPSSAA site is just about worthless. I can't believe how long it takes them to update the brackets. What a disappointment.
