Does anyone know of any good pitching instructors in the Baltimore area? Anywhere in Baltimore or Harford County is fine.

Andy Bair holds his lessons out of Carroll County and I've been around him for a long time. He's a great guy and he knows his stuff.

Check out
Andy Bair Pitching Academy on google

Matt Selmer has been instructing kids from all over MD. He currently instructs kids that attend Dematha, St.Johns and Cardinal Gibbons and is the pitching coach at Riverdale Baptist. He coached the Kingson Royals 14u travel team this year as well....good luck.

Another recommendation for Coach Selmer. My son has worked with Matt for the past year with very good results.

We highly recommend Coach Matt Selmer for your pitching coach. He uses Tom House's National Pitching Association (NPA) principles to teach aspiring pitchers. He has a great personality that helps him both inspire and motivate young athletes.

Coach Selmer has worked with our son for the past four years. We credit him and his NPA knowledge with developing our son's talent as a pitcher. This has led to his success in the MIAA A Division and Baltimore Metro League.

For those willing to make the trek to the western part of the state, it doesn't get any better than Clear Spring's Mark Shives!

Alex Smith at Diamond Pros in Forest Hill does most of the pitching lessons with older kids along with Chuck Rose.

I have just been informed that Mike Toomey along with Joe Kemp are doing pitching lesson in Bowie. The instruction is second to none and Coach Toomey has flown a few major leaguers in to run camps and clinics and to just give professional instruction which my son loved. I knows that I am truly excited about working with Coach Toomey again and he is an amazing teacher and a great ambassador of the game.
