Gary, All I can say is, so far as I know, there isn't anyone better to do that surgery. I commend you for getting him to Dr Andrews. Since it appears your son was seen on June 8 and had surgery on June 9, the clinical findings and diagnostics seem to have supported the decision to do surgery. Dr. Andrews probably isn't a miracle worker. But he gives your son a better chance than just about any other option he had. Good luck. Your son has a lot of hard work ahead. I will be hoping that next Spring you can post with information similar to CPLZ. I love reading those.
