I recently have had problems with back spasms. I went to my family doctor and he prescribed muscle relaxers and to take it easy on upper body lifting. I have been going to the chiropractor for adjustments. I am curious if anyone has any advice so I can get some pain relief or has been through this before

There's a chance it could be Spondylolysis. You might want to check with your doctor to see if he considered that possibility. Most likely he did, but it is worth checking to see.

Go to a sports doctor for another look. I'd hesitate to rely on chiropractic if you could have something more serious.

Back spams exactly in which area? When does it hurt? When swinging? or pitching? Do you feel the pain during normal activities other than baseball? If you are feeling pain for 3 weeks and doesn't look to improve, take an appointment with a orthopedist and if you can find one with a spine specialization go for it.
