Does anyone have any experience with the plug procedure for treatment of elbow OCD? That's the one where plugs are removed from a non-weight bearing part of the knee and inserted into the elbow cavity.

We have a situation where the lesion was removed in May and treated with the micro-fracture procedure. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to work as planned and parts of the new growth broke off. The surgeon is now thinking a more aggressive treatment is needed.

With the uncertain results, it makes the decision rather hard for my high school freshman.
