Hey everyone,

Last June I had an internal impingement surgically repaired, and have recently began throwing quite a bit. I have noticed that my arm is MUCH MUCH weaker than what it used to be, although none of the throws are accompanied with any pain.

Just curious as to why my velocity has dropped off so much, has anyone else dealt with this type of occurence?

You have had major surgery. My son had very minor surgery (scope and a cleanup)last July and just returning to full velocity.
It takes a long time for the shoulder to recover to where it used to be (if it ever does), especially from major stuff.
Follow your throwing program and be patient.

My son had a labrum tear repaired one year from tomorrow (4/12). His last outing he was approaching pre-injury velocity for the first time.
