ridge, while the advise and diagnosis of many on here will be well intended, the best advise you should adhere to is go to a Sports Orthopedic and have him check you out. I would shut down all throwing until you do this. It could be as simple (and painful) as tendonitis, or it could be the beginning of a rotator cuff tear. Without the expertise eyes of a Sports Orthopedic looking at it, xrays, mri's, etc. it's really hard to say.

Go see a PROFESSIONAL. I stayed at a Holiday Inn, but that's not enough reason for me to tell you anything other then "go see a professional". And good luck!
