What are peoples favorite tournaments & locations in the Northeast? I know about Baseball Heaven. I've never been to Duquette. I've been to Cooperstown Dreams Park when my son was a 12yo. I'm interested to know what other people like in tournaments and locations. Do people like to travel to tournaments or simply find local tournaments?

Note that I have no association with any of these facilities. We are a new AAU organization this year and as we expand in the coming years we're hoping to attend tournaments and facilities that are competitive but also a great environment and experience for the players. At the current ages (14) we find that the tournaments are great for playing but also a tremendous bonding experience for the players which helps build the team chemistry.

I thought Duquette was mediocre competition in 13U. There's Baseball Heaven in NY, ECTB (ectb.org) in PA, NY and NJ, Sports at the Beach (sportsatthebeach.com) in DE and The Ripken Experience in MD.

What you should do to save the expense of traveling is get a bunch of the better teams together in your area and run your own tournament.

WE have done the Cooperstown Dreamspark as 12U and this year we are heading to Duquette for Memorial Day weekend as a 14U. Our 15U team is heading to Cooperstown for the other tournament group up there where they stay and play at the college. Not many others in the area really other then Baseball Heaven which I've never been to.

Good luck with your season! Maybe we'll run into you at the 14U tournament for NEAAU. Son plays for the Nashua Knights.

Duquette has a nice field. It's in the middle of nowhere and it's a pretty long drive to get to "somewhere". We went the last two summers, 17U and 18U. Competition was not outstanding. But then neither were we. Smile

I'm not out of order! You're out of order! The whole freakin' system is out of order! You want the truth? You want the truth?! You can't HANDLE the truth!
