Who are some favorites for '07 draft consideration out of New England?

Harvey from CT I hear is a good one. Anybody else?

JO - Hate to see you left hanging on this topic, but other than Harvey, we haven't heard much, yet. May just be to early in the year to start hypothesizing the '07 draft.

Harvey is definitely the top one. Also have to put McGeary (LHP/Roxbury Latin/MA) in there. They are probably the top two in New England that would be considered top 5 rounds.

There might be others that go later then that, just have to wait and see.

Pops,

Yes, Looking for College or HS kids with an inside track for '07 draft..

I've heard good things about McGeary. Has he decided on a college?

I've also heard good Terry Doyle of Boston College did well at the cape. Is he considered a top round kid?

What about David Christoferson from Hollis/Brookline? I know last year he wasn't able to play for most of the season yet he still has a decent ranking on the 07 list. Anyone know if he verbally comitted?

Wiswall, Boston College, is a top prospect, as well as Oakley, Oregon State.

I need some help...I do not know who the Wiswall kid is at BC and he is not on their 06 fall roster. I saw a few games at BC last year and was just curious. Thanks

Thanks for the info. Any word on the Anderson (from Portsmouth, NH) arm? How is he recovering from the Tommy John he had.

Not sure if anyone was looking for college draft possibilities, but here's a few New Englanders to go with Harvey and McGeary. I've heard all of them mentioned in the top 250 in the 07 draft class.

Charlie Furbush, from Portland, ME, just transferred to LSU this year I believe.

Cory Riordan from Killingworth, CT, at Fordham, RHP is another.

Andrew Carignan from Norwich, CT is back on the list as a junior, currenly the closer at North Carolina.

Terry Doyle, RHP from Warwick, RI, at BC.

Cody Crowell, LHP, from Harwichport, MA, at Vanderbilt.

Did the Twins actually sign Anderson with a recent TJ surgery or is he going back to school somewhere? I think he's finished at Northern Essex (2 yr school??), isnt he?

I know Anderson signed with the Twins and then released???? becuase of his arm. I remember reading a newspaper article saying that he was signed by the guy he was working out with up there in Portsmouth who is a high school coach/scout for the Twins. I knew he had TJ surgery but don't know how he is recovering.

There is an ornery dude - long forgotten - from Mt. Kisco NY. Long Italian last name. Ugly sucker.

If you were there when he played - you might remember him.

Came down south - and got hammered (sweet tea and grits style - LOL) - but -

He aint done yet.

Might be a prospect. You never know.

Wink

P.S. Hit 'em - and run 'em into the ground - and maybe - just maybe - they will just shut up and go home. Rubber bisquits always bounce back. LOL
