For those who were concerned, Manny was just being Manny once again---due to show up in Ft Myers on the 1st of March he was in camp before 9 AM this morning---all is well in the RED SOX NATION

For the most part, Sox Nation does not worry about Manny, or "Manny being Manny". That's a media driven concoction so the radio talk shows can keep buzzing.

Fans (at least those not so easily swayed) could care less about when or how he shows up. He'll produce enough runs during the season that the occassional minor indescretions will mean nothing.

Besides, Manny taking a few days off here and there, and JD Drew missing a few games here and there will mean the continued development of Wily Mo Pena. It's all good. Manny will get his .310-35-120, and maybe a few more. Not an issue with the fans!
