The Nashua Pride manager has stepped down and the reason he states is a great reason...his family.
We recently lost the only female sports writer in the area...Cindy Cloutier from the Nashua Telegraph. Before she left she wrote a nice piece about all she would miss in the coming year.
She suggested that Hobson may become the "other" Nashua High School baseball coach when the school divides into North and South next year.
The report today suggests he will announce his next position sometime next week...

While that certainly may be a possiblity...the reports I've heard are that he left the Pride because it was too much of a "time" committment. The same amount of time would be necessary to manage a NECBL team.
He is the father of 6 with a baby on the way and has had some very serious health issues in the past 2 years. I think he is looking to get involved coaching his own boys for a nice change.
