I use to play Middle School, High School and Legion ball with Brian. He was a character but man the kid could play the game, not only pitching he could hit a ton. Example, 1998 openning day for the Londonderry Lancers who are hosting Manchester Central, we are late in the game and down a run, Brian is due up 4th in the inning. Lead off gets on, as Brian makes his way to the end of the dug out he says "I am going to get us the lead", sure enough 3 run bomb into the football bleachers, he was only a sophmore.
