This weekend in Binghamton the NYS Chapionships for all classes begins Saturday morning. The final 4 games will be played at 10 with the Championships later in the day.

Should be a great day since I have a horse in this race. Good Luck to the Gaels of Kennedy Catholic.

I pitched against Mamaroneck earlier in the year and I think they have the depth and balance in their lineup to make a run and win the two games on Saturday. Good luck to all teams involved. Coach Merc- Good luck to Mike, should be a great experience

The Massachusetts state championship games will also be played on Saturday at LaLacheur Field in Lowell, MA. Nationally ranked Plymouth North H.S. looks to finish a perfect season.

Good luck Coach Merc. You guys eliminated us in a GREAT game in the sectional finals. Good luck to you, Mike and the Gaels!

Mamaroneck and Kennedy have both won their division titles---waiting to hear regarding Keio

If Keio wins that is three titles from one section of the state---I do not think this has ever happened before

Congratulations guys

The Mamaroneck team is loaded with prospects. Most of the starters should have the opportunity to play college ball.

Some others I know of off the top of my head are Robbie Aviles, Steven Green, Tim Panetta, Mike Mercurio, Mike Volpe, Anthony Corona, Dan Zlotnick, Anthony Iacomini, Dan Sorine. There are definitely more. Section 1 is loaded with talent all around and should enjoy another banner year next year (especially as both Kennedy and Mamaroneck were lead by underclassmen, and the section pitcher of the year was a just a sophomore)
