I was wondering if baseball people from New England states could check in on who there top prospects are for player of the Gatorade Player of the year in each state:

New Hampshire

Brad Zapenas ( .440/15rbi/) my best guess
AJ Bazdanes (1-0/ 21k/0.75era)
Dan Feehan (1-0/ 2 saves)
Any other Candidates ????

Keith Bilodeau - 2-0/ 30 K in 2 starts
Keith Landers ? stats
Scott Weisman ? stats

Conneticut

Will Jolin ?

Jason Esposito ?
Matt Barnes ?
Conor Gandossy -- 435, w/ 7 doubles, 1 home run, 19 RBI's, 17 Runs scored, 8-8 throwing out runners
Garrett Cooper ?

Vermont

O'Brien from Scituate, who is going to the University of Georgia next year, is having a great season so far.

In CT, I don't see anyone other than Esposito winning it, especially since the paper said that Jolin is resting a sore arm.
CT features quite a bit of talent this year.

I agree on Hart. Best all-around player in the state.

How is Esposito doing this year?

Those stats for Gandossy are pretty impressive

Hows Springer hitting?

Bazdanes how many games has he pitched? 1-0 with 21 k's? did he get a ND? If he continues to pitch like that I don't see why he wouldn't get it.

Keith Bilodeau was 3-0 with 43 strikeouts in 24 innings and a 0.00 ERA as of last week.

Esposito has a couple of HR's, hits well, runs well, has a live arm, the best player in the state. I am sure other players will have better stats but the fact remains that he is the best player in the state.
Vandy bound but draft awaits for Esposito, IMO.
However, there are players from CT goign to the ACC, SEC, Atlantic 10,Big East all over so the group as a whole is pretty strong.

AJ got a no decision as he went 6 strong with a 2-0 lead and the releiver that came in for the save blew it. AJ has thrown 2 games and is slated to pitch on Wednesday April 30 vs Pinkerton.

Can't rule out guys from the smaller schools. Chris Walker, from HB, and Larry Longo, from Derryfield are outstanding ballplayers.

Also can't rule out the possibility that the powers that be may decide we don't have a POY again this year.

In Rhode Island, Ryan Westmoreland won last year as a junior. Anyone know if Westie can win twice?

ch, can't recall off the top of my head, but if you go to masslive.com, click on "forums" and then on "emass baseball" there are a number of posts from which you should be able to piece it together.
