Well,

Expecting a storm this weekend. Not a great place to live if your son plays baseball but here we are.

What do other people's son's do to prepare for the upcoming high school season with the inability to use fields?

Indoor weight rooms...check...He's getting there on a regular basis and working all the major muscle groups

Indoor Cages...check...Using a wood bat while being thrown to live from 45-50 feet from behind an L-screen...Not a fan of pitching machines...

Indoor Pitching areas...Well, son is not a pitcher, but using just to keep his arm loose...

I guess he's doing all he really can...

I don't know whether shoveling helps but he'll be doing that tomorrow... Big Grin

Bad O - while he's at it - make sure he is doing some agility drills. IMO.

Keep those legs moving.

I would have sent him, TR, but we got more than enough for both he and his younger brother...

Started Friday night and didn't end until last night...

More than two feet easily...

No school today though so they're happy...

I kept looking for my work to be canceled but then I remembered that doesn't happen...

But the Patriots won so all is well with the world...

BAD

Got to tell you living in the Hartford area gives one the best of both worlds--the Giants and Jets go "south" but I still have the Pats, even with no offense.

Baseballwise I have all three, Bosox, Mets and Yanks and their asscoiated farm teams plaus the Norwich team which is a Giant farm club, I wonder if "Mad Dog", WFAN. ever makes it up there to see his future favorites

By the way--thanx for the offer but we got shoveled out--you got the next go round

TR -

Not a New York fan here...

Boston through and through, for better or worse...

Enjoying the Pats ride which is earily similar to their Super Bowl jaunt from a few years ago...

They have no running game, no-name receivers, injuries, although healing now, on the defense...

I have no idea how they are doing it...But that is what makes it so special...

I think Belichick is part Houdini...
