Kyle Bunn, Clemson pitching coach, has accepted the Tide challenge, to be the new pitching coach at the University of Alabama. This a great hire for the Tide Baseball program and an excellent fit with Coach Gaspard and Coach Norris. The future of Tide Baseball is looking very bright!

I know he is extremely happy with his decision and he says "all the players and coaches have been extremely helpful and I'm having a blast, even with the academics and my shaved head". He is also excited because the coaches have offered him the opportunity to play the outfield and pitch this fall, so we will see how this works out by the spring. Things are good in Tuscaloosa!
He even called his 'ole dad yesterday after practice to discuss the addition of Coach Bunn and how excited all the players are of the recent coaching changes.
It does help the sadness (mom and dad) of not having him around, just knowing how happy he is at Alabama.
Anything else is just icing on the cake!
