The Alabama Crimson Tide baseball team went 0-2-1 against the Cuban Collegiate All-Stars. Bama allowed 3 first inning unearned runs in the first two games, tying the first game 3-3, lost 6-2, and 7-5. Even with the 2 looses, I am sure the players and coaches learned a lot about their team. Best of luck in 09. Roll Tide!

Clint,
This past summer my son got a chance to play in Havana against the Cuban Olympic team. Quite an venture, and one he won't forget. International baseball can be such a great experience for our kids. My hope is someday the trade embargo ends and baseball teams will travel freely to and from Cuba. They really love their baseball, and as the Tide found out, those Cubanos can play a little. Best of luck to your son.
