First your 16 year olds win the Southeast Regional tournament last week in Warrenton VA and they are now heading to Loudoun County, Virginia for the Babe Ruth 16 year old World Series, but today, here in Virginia I had the pleasure of presenting your Alabama 13-15 year old Babe Ruth State Champions their own Southeast Regional tournament trophy and sent them off to Washington State for their World Series.

Not sure if its the talent in Alabama or the Fields and sun in Virginia but are two states have mixed it up the past two weeks and you have produced two very talented teams that you can be proud of on and off the field.

Congrats to all the players on both teams and good luck in your World Series.

ps - 'Bama you and I need to talk about a 15 year old from my regional that plays on the Alabama State Champs team (8 games, hit over .600 ba, 4 home runs, 14 RBI's.. amazing player)
