Got to see Coach Putman's Wallace State team take both games of a double-header from Vol State yesterday. 4-0 so far, and pitching staff looks very impressive. Good luck to the team this year.

We are 4-0 after Sunday's games. Do you live in North Alabama?

Yes, we drove down from the Huntsville area to watch. one of my close friends played at Wallace for Coach Putman 8 or 9 years ago, and wanted to visit. Beautiful weather for February, and we really enjoyed the day! Was a learning experience for my high school age son as to what to expect in a couple of years as well.

I am from Huntsville, but lived in Decatur then Hartselle for 20 or so years. Good luck to your son in high school and on!

We were very impressed with all the pitchers we saw Sunday. That was actually the number 1 topic on the way home, was the quality of the pitching staff. Congrats to your son for making it to the level he's at, and good luck this season.
Also, one of my son's high school teammates from last year is a freshman LHP, Nathan Hill. Keep us up to speed on how the team does!

My son played summer ball with Nathan two years ago and we enjoyed getting to know him and his parents. And yes, our pitching this year is looking good!

Our pitching this year has depth and we are looking forward to a great season. Were you at the games against Volunteer State?

southernmom, high school season has started for us, so we will have few opportunities to attend many more games. If you could keep us posted as to how Wallace's season is going on here!

Wow! Did not know you guys are undefeated. That's fantastic! I'll pass it on to my alum friend. Good luck now that it looks like it's actually going to get warmer.

It does appear that way, but we have a lot of season to go. Nathan Hill had a great game against Northwest Shoals!
