You might find it somewhere within the red box...or maybe not.

Woody, gotcha this time! cleverman USA is actually even farther south than your box, in Mobile. Been to the campus with a buddy who's son attends there, Papi got a better reply on the "ask about colleges" forum than I could give, although a agree it's a beautiful field!

Don't ever play horseshoes with Gotwood...anything close and he thinks it's a ringer!

From the Rule Book or the horse's mouth...

The term "ringer" has two meanings. One, the horseshoe seems to wrap around or ring the stake. Also a ringer will often hit the stake and cause a ringing or clanking noise.

Can I help it papi if I clank all of the time? Getting old has few rewards so give me three points...make it six. I clanked again!

You're absolutely right deucedoc, it is my joints that clank. It runs in the family...

.

    Here's my uncle Stannum.
He's getting up in age and despite the quart and half of 20WT that we have to funnel into him daily he clanks something awful.
We're considering switching to a higher performing and higher priced synthetic.
He's driving my aunt Ringa mad...what with her severe case of tinnitus.

And then there is my other uncle, Murph.
He works all of the time...hardly ever stops.
    He's always exhausted it seems.
Clanks like there is no tomorrow.

    And lastly is uncle Cuke.
He clanks as much as the rest of us.
    A real headscratcher.
We think that whatever he's made of it must have a high iron content.

I've been to a few weekend series there and seen them on the road for a few more conference series. I like Mobile. It is all deep south. The ball park is nice, having been redone five years ago. They should have covered the grand stands, imo.

The program has a long successful history, but has been in a down cycle for 3 or 4 years.

The Sunbelt is a good mid-major baseball conference, They have their fair share of draft picks each year and strong rivalries. I think Western KY got to Omaha two years ago or a super, anyway. The ball parks are pretty good around the league with a couple of exceptions.

South AL atendence is strong when they are winning, not so much lately, so I'm told.

I can't tell you the first thing about academics. That's for the smart folk.
