who has been invited and who will be there tomorrow to observe?

I'm pretty sure all the top seniors-to be (last year juniors) from the area are going. After this event at Naperville, I believe about 15-30 players get selected to move on to another Area Code tryout at Safeco Field in Seattle, where they will be with other top high schoolers in the nation. It's really hard to be picked out of Naperville, let alone to actually make the official Area Code team. But you do get a nice Nike Area Code T-Shirt . But in regards to specifics, does anyone know if there is a website or something to get an official roster of players from Illinois, or do we have to wait until the players get picked out of Naperville's tryout tomorrow?

long, long day at ncc yesterday. great to see the dakota, iowa, minnesota, and wisconsin kids mixed in with our illinois players. okapal and milroy made some news yesterday with a few others. good day and indy tomorrow.

up above i have no idea what safeco has to do with long beach. 3 tryouts in the midwest to make the team to go out to long beach. been that ways for years.

Anyone know how many get picked from the North Central group for the Area Code Games in August? How did Milroy and Okapal do pitching-wise? I know Okapal has been surprising everyone in the lst few weeks with the showcases...a great thing for him. Kid is 6'4 and never had a pitching lesson...still hitting 89-90. Lots of raw talent.

It all depends how good the kids from the other states are. I think the 2009 position players are weak in Illinois, does anyone have an opinion on whose the best position player going into their senior year in the state?
