The third annual Wooden Bat Fall League is currently accepting registration. This league is open to high school baseball athletes. The league runs for seven weeks, with each team playing a Sunday doubleheader. This is a Sunday league only, and players are encouraged to practice on their own time because there will not be league practices. All games will be played in the Carbondale area and the league will run from August 10 thru September 28 (except no game on Labor Day weekend). The first year we had 66 players participate and last year we had 78 players participate. I would like to know if any other fall leagues would like to come to our area and play a weekend or two.
