The Volunteer Classic at John Logan College, SIU, Southern IllMiners stadium, Herrin HS and Carbondale HS--- was a huge success with over 40 recruiters and scouts in attendance

The So Illinois Bullets won the 5 game guarantee classic with a 10-0 6 inning victory over Southeast Mo Baseball Academy.

Springfield statesmen 17u team defeated Top Tier 17u eam 10-9 for the Consolation Championship.

24 teams competed in the 4 day affair---Teams pitching staffs were completely drained at the end of the tourney as teams had to play 7 games to win championships. All scores, statistics and stqndings are on the diamondsportspromotions.com website
