Missouri State forces a mid-week split with Southeast Missouri State today at Capaha Park in Cape Girardeau. Aaron Conway, from Triad High School, went 0-2 with a ground ball to the third baseman and a fly out to center. He can flat out run!

Bulldog19, how was he running? He's been hampered by a torn hamstring. He was not able to play when Iowa with Kevin Hoef played at Missouri State earlier. Well, he did get in the last game I think.

CoachB, he seemed to fly when running out the ground ball. Hit a chopper to third and nearly beat it out. Looked fine to me. He came in late to hit in the 8th and 9th. Didn't play the field. I saw he hit yesterday as well, but I wasn't at that game.

All of the college coaches are Moaning about the lack of hitting by their teams..Has anyone seen or heard of a college team hitting the ball well with consistency.. I still think it is the on again- off again schedule the kids are forced to play with the weather conditions
Siu lost 2 out of 3 to Missouri State and Illinois State loses their 8th straight game by being swept by Creighton this weekend. |
