On another message board that I post on, one observation posted was the amazing number of complete games being pitched in our area this first week. I am surprised myself. We won't have one for sure our first week. It could cost us some games especially when we have to throw a couple of kids at a school like Crystal Lake Prairie Ridge and Belleville West a double header. However, I won't risk the injury. What is typical up North?

I was limited to 60 pitches so I went 4 innings and that was it.

Can't imagine a "good" high school coach letting a kid pitch more than 4-5 innings in his first outing.

For a coach that has no clue, that might be the norm.

For the parents that have no clue, that might be the norm also! Because their son is an ALL STAR!
