Anyone we should be cheering for as the IHSA AA basketball tournament unfolds?

Anyone have relatives, baseball players, etc., on a team?

My son, Brandon Copp, plays for Aurora West. They are 29-1 and ranked #1 in IL and 6th in USA Today National Poll.
They play Downers Grove South Tuesday at NIU - Last year DGS shocked top ranked WA in sectional opener. Hopefully this year things go better, good luck to all!!

Thanks 2ndbasemom. West beat DGS tonight 40-36 despite not playing well at all.
They play Friday at 8:15 vs Hoffman Estates. Hopefully they'll win, if not it will be a quick trip home and an 11 a.m. game vs. Minooka on Saturday.
Since Brandon has not had any BP yet I think he'd rather play hoops one more day than see Perinar or Scheidt as his first live pitching.

Congratulations to Peoria Central on 2nd straight AA title - well coached/disciplined team with 2 stars and handful of great role players.
May have been the best Elite 8 field in 20 yrs, saw numerous future d1 players and some excellent games.

dennis, watched the games on TV...Brandon and his team did a great job.

Congrats to HF for some great basketball too.
