I was wondering why no one commented,or maybe I missed it on the Bullsox Academy Prospects Showcase? I had two young men do well at that particular showcase. The results of that camp are located at:

http://bullsoxacademy.com/managex/?x=15&y=15&articlesource=15

Go to Prospects at the end of the page and you'll have to open it up to view. Comments on this camp?

The reason is most likely because the showcase was a wash out. It was scheduled for Wednesday/Thursday, with the 60 on Wednesday and a game, followed by another game on Thursday. On Wednesday the weather only allowed the 60 to be ran (making your second basemans 60 time a bit more unbelievable, considering it was not only raining but the grass at north central college is pretty thick) and on Thursday I believe one game was played, but the 200 other players went to the Bulls/Sox Academy for radar times and hitting. By that time there were only 6 or 7 scouts there

Although the reputation of the Prospect Games isn't the greatest, I think that the director did the best he could to adjust with mother nature.

The weather didnt cooperate for the showcase. The showcase itself was a little disapointing considering there were only 6 or 7 scouts in attendance for the inside workouts.I witnessed the scouts viewing the pitching and fielding throwing drills but most of them werent watching the hitting drills. The conditions for the 60 times werent good. All in all the Sox did the best they could with the weather conditions they had to work with.

Does anyone have any good/bad feed back about BullsoxAcademy Evaluations? Is it a waste of time and $30?
